Answer / biplab
In 3phase induction motor,.....p.f=R2/(R^2+sX^2)^1/2
so directly related to slip.now if p.f reduces, slip increses
thus Nr(Rotor Speed) becomes slower..

The ohm's say's V is directly prop to I it means if v raises its value the value of I. will raise automatically. The formula of P.f=v*i*cos fie. Hense if the value of V is increased then the value I will increase .Motor will draw less current , v from the supply & it will b known as good power factor of motor .

What mean by MLTP
we have one pumping station and 4.6 MW 7 no.s synchronous motors.so there is no required HT capacitor to improve power factor. But we have two no.s of 25 Mva power transformer connect to distribute the power for motors connect with 220 kv line.So i have required the HT capacitor to improve power factor at HT side i mean power transformer bus side.So please suggest how much HT capacitor banks required for same.
Why neutral grounding Transformer provided for generator?
if there is nutral in phase why we use earthing wire and grounding? even at fault condition the fault current flows to neutral (it is a lower path)
What are the types of feedback oscillators?
What is defference between earthed and unearthed cable(HT)? Which is better for under ground cabling?
how the transformer stables out zone faults? Because we use non directional O/C relays .Is there any special considerations are taking into account to overtake this?
difference between brush less & brush excitation in a generator?
what are different types of alternator and discuss about the methods of cooling

Why delta connected motors are used normally.
can we charge 3 ph power transformer delta-star wound with neutral grounded 6.6kV/415V from secondary side(415V) but with primary(6.6kV) open by dg,what are the disadvantages or losses.
