In 3phase induction motor,.....p.f=R2/(R^2+sX^2)^1/2

so directly related to slip.now if p.f reduces,slip increses
thus Nr(Rotor Speed) becomes slower..

What happen if we apply square wave or traiangular waveform voltage to the transformer primary winding instead of sinusoidal wave?
