normally in distribution side transformer secondary is star
connected.so three windings at the secondary side may be
shorted at common point for getting neutral.at balanced
condition the neutral current becomes zero..but if there is
any unbalanced condition in the system it cause some what
neutral current.it may make the system disturbed.so nuetral
earthing is provided in the system.
