The Auto Pick Confirm setup can be done even from the Pick
Release Form Shipping tab.

If this option is set to 'Yes', the user need not have to
manually do the Transact Move Order process from the
Inventory responsibility.

If this option is set to 'No', then the user will have to
do the Transact Move Order from the Inventory
responsibility.

The Purchase Order status will show as "Finally closed"
when the PO details match exactly with the Invoice details.

quantity that can be released against the order created.
The available quantity is released and the rest are
backordered.

Answer

Yes the order will get backordered.

Reason: The organization/inventory is defined at the time
of Pick Release. These details default in the Shipping
Transaction screen later. When these details are missing,
the system will not know where to pick the material from
and hence it will get backordered.

The mandatory fields in the Pick Release screen are the
Order number should be entered, the Warehouse should be
