it is a parallel combination of capacitor and inductor choke.
which offers the high impedance at its(tuned)resonsnce frequency. and resonce freq. is Fr=1/(2*3.14*f*c)
where
f=frequency
Fr=resonance frequency
pye=3.14
c=capacitance of ckt.
this ckt r used in tuned amplifier etc. for getting the desired high gain at resonance frequency.

TANK CIRCUIT IS A COMBINATION OF CAPACITOR AND
INDUCTOR.WHILE DISCHARGING THE CAPACITOR, THE INDUCTOR IS
CHARGED. AND OPPSITE INCIDENT INDUCTOR WILL REVERTBACK THE
ENERGY. THIS WILL ACT AS A OSCILLATOR FOR PRODUCING
FREQUENCYS

A long transmission line is limited by - a)thermal limited b)voltage limited c)stability limited d) L,C limited please explain with proper reason.
Hi If connecting a temp generator 670KVA .415kv with step up Tx .415/11kv. I am given Generator impedances Z1 Z2 Z0 to 100MVA base. Do I need to work out the generator fault current by using these impedances i.e gen rating / impedance. Then use this as my source impedance for the calculations that follow.
