Purpose of armore for power or control cable:
1) Provide mechanical support for cable,
2) Protection from mechanical damages,
3) Provide parallel path for earthing and useful for cable
protection during earth fault.
There are two types of armores:
1) Flat type armore and
2) Round type armore
Depends upon cable size and area of use we can select cable.
