A Relay is a device which senses the fault in the circuit and sends signal to the Circuit Breaker to break the circuit.
There is a difference between a relay and a circuit breaker, both are entirely different.
In a circuit, duty of Relay is to sense the fault whereas Circuit breaker should break the circuit upon receiving signal from the relay.
In a circuit, Relay as Master and Circuit Breaker as Slave.
