IF 2500 KVA T/F , 11KV, 433 VOLT
APPARANT POWER(VA) = 1.732.V.I
H.T SIDE CURRENT = 2500*1000/1.73*11*1000= 131.21 A
L.T SIDE CURRENT = 2500*1000/1.732*433= 3333.52 A

I need to compare the energy consumption of an industrial machine before and after improving. Shall I compare the apparent power or the active power? I know usually factories use compensated capacitors (or other similar components) to compensate the reactive power, so if I use the apparent power, it's not the real power consumed.
