I have a thermal flask in which i have to fill the boiled
water.
I also have thermocol, saw dust and silver paper.
Now tell me how i have to arrange these material to attain

THE OUTERMOST LAYER SHOULD BE THERMOCOL.THEN PLACE THERMAL
FLASK INSIDE THERMOCOL BOX.NOW KEEP THE SAW DUST INBETWEEN
THERMOCOL AND THERMO FLASK AND SILVER PAPER SHOULD BE
APPLIED ON INNER SIDE OF THERMAL FLASK.THUS THE CORRECT
ORDER FROM OUTSIDE IS-
1-THERMOCOL
2-SAW DUST
3-THERMAL FLASK
4-SILVER PAPER

Answer / abhay
for minimising heat losses we should always keep the material with least thermal conductivity ie. highest thermal reistance at the outer most layer and material with highest conductivity
at the imner side sothe correct order from inside is
0>thermal flask
1>silver plate
2>saw dust
3.thermocol

1-THERMOCOL
2-SAW DUST
3-THERMAL FLASK
4-SILVER PAPER
| Is This Answer Correct ? | 1 Yes | 2 No |
1.Thermal flask,
2.Saw dust,
3.Thermocol,
I think there is no need of silver paper. But as per your
question it cn be used as the last.
Saw dust should be used next to your thermal flask because
it can be tightly packed without air gap than thermocol.
