disandvantage:-the wheatstone bridge is not applicable for
high resistances
advantage:-1)it shows a null measurement(i.e.-potential
differnce across the end points of the bridge is zero)
2)since it is an arrangement of 4 resistors ,it is useful to
find one of them in terms of other 3

It operates on null deflection i.e., indication is independent on indicating instrument's characteristics.that is reason it has high degrees of accuracy.

Wheatstone Bridge Consist of 4 Resistance.. Out of Four
Resistance three are Standard one.. and one will be the
varying nature.. if bridge is balance only the variable
resistance equal to the standard resistance,.. through
galvanometer we observe the changes...
