ac is more dangerous as compared to dc as d avg. value for
ac is 311v while for dc it is constant & equal to rms value.
a general perception which is quite wrong is dat dc current
sickcs a person to it after d contact while ac throws him
away bcoz of alternating nature,so dc is more dangerous

Answer / staticcharges
before some 100 years ago itself they began to argue with
this, it was the "WAR OF CURRENTS"(whether to use AC or DC)
that is between tesla and edison, edison came with DC and
tesla came with AC,
finally tesla proved that AC is more powerful by introducing
a electric chair made of AC, since then AC power is applied
for Electric chairs..,and thereby we are now almost using AC
everywhere. if AC is used to kill people, imagine a
defibrillator used when a man about to die, giving a
electric shock he can be made alive, for that electric shock
DC is applied.
AC or DC, its the amount of current passes through u, AC
first causes a muscular contraction, DC first causes,
electrolysis of blood..,

DC is a dangerous supply Because DC is a one directional
current DC has two wire positive way is always positive and
negative is always negative so DC is a powerful supply.
AC means alternating current means 50 time change in one
second and DC is direct current no change direction.

This question has been asked previously, and was hammered
to death, AC is far more dangerous than DC, particulary at
50 - 60 Hz, DC will not grab you but throw you off, AC will.
