always normaly we can get alternating voltage from genarator.Then if want to get dc voltage we should use split ring commutator in the equipment.

The initial current is very large at the time of starting for almost all DC motors. SO WE USE STARTER FOR A SAFE STARTING but at our homes we don’t see any starters in our coolers, motors.WHY DON’T WE NEED STARTERS FOR THESE APPLIANCES?
