will be steady

any kind of purely resistive load can be supplied by ac as
well as dc source

running a 230V lamp on a DC 110V will cause d lamp to burn dim...
dats a resistive load...
charge a 110V DC battery using a 230V AC suppy will cause the battery to swell up and explode ...
so use equipment as per rated voltage and type !!!

we can use pure resistive circuit to both ac and dc supply
but in case of induction type instrument we cant use dc bcz
induction principle is applicable to only ac. example are
induction motor and transformer
