Is it possible that there can be number of test cases?
Mean to say 500 or 1000 test cases?

it's possible depending on the application it exceeds to
10,000 test cases also sometimes. One thing how many test
cases u have written is not a matter how perfectly u have
delivered the product with good quality is very important

There can be any number of test cases in a project. It
depends on the application (like the number of scenarios for
testing). The bigger the application....probability of test
cases to be higher

we can write no of test cases as for clint requirements in a
project or module. but we have to concentrate on the test
cases are coverd all the requirements and also consentrate
or writing effective test cases for every application.
