There are so many input required to design and automotive
hvac system.
e.g first step is
1) heat load calculation of cabin(car/bus/truck)
and for this you have to consider all the material
properties of sheetmetal,plastic,insulation,air
infiltration,electrical,human load and factor of safety.

cant explain in this , too long procedure.
