I applied for H1B through consultant and got H1b VISA
Approval. I have received soft copy from my consultant
through mail. I haven't received Hard Copy.
I have doubt whether the Approval Mail I got from my
Consultant is realy belongs to me. How can I Check That?.
In The USCIS Site it shows the status alone not the Name?
My Consultant asking me 50K as a security Deposit.
Kindly tell me what are all the document, to Appear in the
H1B VISA?
What is probability of getting VISA from Chennai Consulate?

Do not pay any deposits..this is illegal and if found out
would void your visa immediately. They have no right to ask
you for any money. (The US government is cracking down in
this practice a lot right now)
To take to the consulate you need your LCA, approved visa
petition from the USCIS, employer offer letter, proof of
paid application fee, then supporting documents like
degrees.

Hi All, I got H1B in the year 2008 and i have been there for 5 months and had my SSN and DL and i didnt hold any paystrubs and due to market down fall i was back to india and now am i eligible to apply in the same cap or need to go through fresh H1B filing. My husband had to go to Switzerland for work for a week,and also get his H1b Stamping from there. Now the consulate there said it would take 3 weeks to process, do you think it would create a problem. They have also asked for his resume???? I went for an interview for H-1b visa stamping the visa officer was not satisfied with the doc and asked me to get list of employees, their sal, position and income tax papers. After a week I went back with all those doc, agin she has asked me to get unemploymentwagereport.My company is not ready to give to the report? I have got the approval on my H1B visa from a US company in 2010, and currently my Indian company is filing L1B petition. I didn't attend the H1B visa until now. What could be the H1B status, even after I receive my L1B visa. Will have H1B petition valid, and so I can go for interview whenever I wish ? Please let me know ASAP.
