I applied for H1B through consultant and got H1b VISA
Approval. I have received soft copy from my consultant
through mail. I haven't received Hard Copy.
I have doubt whether the Approval Mail I got from my
Consultant is realy belongs to me. How can I Check That?.
In The USCIS Site it shows the status alone not the Name?
My Consultant asking me 50K as a security Deposit.
Kindly tell me what are all the document, to Appear in the
H1B VISA?
What is probability of getting VISA from Chennai Consulate?

Do not pay any deposits..this is illegal and if found out
would void your visa immediately. They have no right to ask
you for any money. (The US government is cracking down in
this practice a lot right now)
To take to the consulate you need your LCA, approved visa
petition from the USCIS, employer offer letter, proof of
paid application fee, then supporting documents like
degrees.

Hi, I went to US consulate in Mummbai, on 16 th march 2009 and i was asked to get income tax papers of my co, list of employees and my income tax return.Whn I carried those papers and went again, the officer asked to get unemployment wage repot, but my co is not ready to send me the report, could you please tell me if there is an alternate doc to it? My company processed the H1B visa for. Propably I will get the interview date by next month. I have 20 days overlap in one of my previous experience. i.e. Company A Service certificate shows 4 Jan 2005 to 25 Jun 2006, Company B shows 5 Jun 2006 to 16 Apr 2008.
