what is the marks required for a general category to score
in the SSC Section officer audit exam 2008 for being in the
top position in the merit list?

I think Hena is right, in GK 65% is sufficient but English
needs 70% and Maths must be above 80%, because the seats
for General Category is just 125. 375 candidates supposed
to be called for interview. So it is tough to be selected
for interview scoring less than 70-75% overall. So best of
luck guys its about to come.

I think minimum marks(cut offs) required will be around 60
marks each in GA and english. and cut off for arithmatic
will be 75. overall cut off may be 200- 210 marks

For the exam which was held on 06.01.08 i came to know from
some of my friends that the cut off was around 70% as one
of our friend applied for the RTI and he told the same
thing........

As of now there are many interpretations but i think that
the cut off will be around 210 to 220 and in first paper
minimum 70% and in second it will be around 75%............
besides everything i want to know when the result will be
declared? please let me know i am eagerly waiting for the
results.......

well i think they will they will have different cutoff marks
for 2 different papers. and The cutoff marks for arithmatic
will go more than 75%
