Since Recession is the time when there is downfall in every
field. Recession will no doubt will have impact on us too
but since we are a fresher we need to learn a lot and
without facing any challenges we can't overcome the
problems, because as a finance manager we have to manage the
budget of the organization.

As a MBA Finance fresher student it is difficult to get a
core finance job like –Financial planning, budgeting,
capital structure decision making etc.At fresher stage they
might get a Para-finance or Marketing job like- mutual
fund’s scheme sell, work in Insurance sector etc. Because
Every company likes to hire C.A, CMA/ICWA For those
responsible posts.
Recession create a negative comminuting between job seekers
& those persons who with job. Because every concern eyeing
on minimize their overall cost for the purpose set the
effective CTC standard to achieve recession time
organizational objective for that result they reduce their
manpower budget amount. And at this period every fresher
employee conduct with very hard bargaining of his
compensation and that time is also very difficult for
survival of little inefficient employee & job seekers have
to face very tuff competitive bidding interview situation.

As everyone cited, recession has hit hard on freshers as well. Even during recession, employers do look for freshers. The best formula for success in interview and landing in a job is to show case your Knowledge (theory - what is taught in your classrooms), Skills (how you would apply theory in real job scenarios), Attitude (willingness to do take responsibility for any task even if it is as mundane as data entry and willingness to learn).

For a fresher like you recession will not impact but you
may get minimum salary of Rs.8 - 10 K, don't expect more.
But definetly you will get a job inspite of recession as
Finance (accounting)is a must for any organisation. You
better try for a BPO job where you will get visibility
faster than any other industry and the challenge will be
restricted to one particular responsibility.
