why AC signals are represented by sinusoidal waveform?WHY other waveforms not used for representa..

Answer / ansuah reddy.m

Ac signal can be of any form but generally we use
sinusoidal because we can transform/convert any
mathematical relation or other equations into sine function
more easier than any other.
And also if we observe any machine operation we
can see the output of stator is a sinusoidal function. So as
we use more sine funcion rather cosine/anyother function

why AC signals are represented by sinusoidal waveform?WHY other waveforms not used for representa..

Answer / miss k

There are anumber of reasons for this. One of the reasons
ids that if we take any second order system, the response
of this system is asinusoid. Secondly, any periodic
waveform can be written in terms of sinusoidal function
according to fourier theorem.

why AC signals are represented by sinusoidal waveform?WHY other waveforms not used for representa..

Answer / tagore

AC signal has frequency. Frequency is no. of cycles per second. In general form 1cycle is drawn and visible. For more num of cycles cannt be visible as they were drawn on one another. For graphical rep. we use sinusoidal wave which is half circular shape each...

L.A. (Lightening Arrester) is located at a place from where transmission line enters the transmitting substation. So L.A. (Lightening Arrester) is the first equipments which has to encounter with lightening, high voltage surges and switching surges. It has to absorb energy of lightening, high voltage surges, and switching surges. L.A. (Lightening Arrester) is made up of layers of semiconductors. If these layers can not tolerate energy released by lightening, high voltage surges, and switching surges the L.A. (Lightening Arrester) blasts.
