Dear sanjeeb,kapil,baba.thankur
kapil i would like to say that I am also expecting about
420+ with interview in cglm 2006, as you know
490+=70%,therefore,as my marks is much less than this i am
not expecting any thing good as now you also have seen the
report of Mr.ullash jain & also one reason is that i
belongs to general category.i donot know your category, but
whatever it is 440+ is not at all bad marks.now,it all
depends on the no.of vaccancy & the competitiors. If you
will see the website of ssc then you will find the last
merit candidate of SI,delhi police 2004 has got 509/700,but
that time there is only 23 posts.
IS Any of you could tell me the exact no. of posts in cglm
2005,as from the report the marks obtained by the last
candidate was so high.
Sanjeeb,as far as my knowledge the gk paper of scheme-A of
cglm 2008 was not good for any one specially, from my centre
more than 70% of candidate has said that they will get
withwin 80-110.I don't know about your centre pls, mention
it,then we can analyse. As you know ,the cut off will be for
english,&,I think the cut off will be about 60/100 in
english as every candidate has given this paper above their
expection. For gk 80 is enough for any candidate for this
year.
Sanjeev I was also stunned when I see that cut-off for
arithmetic is 91 in scheme-B as, I also know that it is no
where mentioned in the notification.so,I made a call to our
regional ssc, & they said that it's true.so,I will request
you that you also call up the ssc of your region & enquire
about it.Any way I will again search &if i find the report
i will paste it.
For further confidential information like my
region ,original name etc & also your regions information
pls.send e-mail to the following address,so that we can
share our feelings without making it to public.

dear kapil ,
I think you have not given CGLM 2008.If you have
given...then pls. discuss & send an e-mail to:
Email address:svs1919@yahoo.com
if you are giving the CGLM 2008,then until 1st mar 2009
forget about CGLM 2006 & concentrate on CGLM 2008
Because I think this time the no.of vaccancy is more than
CGLM 2006,as,the no.of candidate qualified for mains is
more than the no.of candidates qualified in CGLE 2006.

ok then i will concentrate on 2008. but i am actually
disagree with 91/100 because cut off cannot be so high.Any
way, my gk paper was good because i am also preparing for
bank p.o. so my current affair as well as traditional
general knowledge is very good. so i am telling that i will
get 120 marks. i have also applied for this year's civil
service exam.

Mr ss, i think and as per my lights, for SI in delhi-2004
cutoff was 509 from 800 marks (because 100 marks for hindi
+ 700 aggregate as 800 marks).
509/800=63.62%.

Dear SS and ohers,
This time GS paper was relatively easy and hence the
cutoff may go little high. The nature of pattern is such
that no body is expected to do very good inthis paper
naturally. But I have been apperaring inthis exam for last
03 chances. This was the easiest most paper in last 03
chances and hence cutoff would not be below 100 this time
in this paper. But the silver lining is always there for
those candidates who are very good in Arithmatics( who
scores Minimum 185)These candidates are always through. The
cut off in CGL would go around 440 and most probably the
result will be delaid because there is no point declaring
it imm after CGLM 2008 mains. Am I right ?

dear kapil,
One thing I don't understand if 23nos.candidate get
appointment with about 64%,then as per report i already
pasted here (of ullash jain),where he has got about 62% in
the CBI stream & 63% in the asst.grade, but he has not
recommended for appointment, whereas the no.of vaccancy in
this category is much more than SI,delhi Police.
can you pls.explain??????????????why?????????
