I only partially agree with you.because all the selected
candidates might not have the same set of mind as you have
and as we expect from your comment.i mean to say,if someone
get a post of UDC or something which he prefered second to
his first target.then he would once again try for his first
preference in the subsequent exam.obviously this attempt of
his/her would be more flexible since he/she has been
already appointed.and the number of such types of
candidates should not be more.
if 500 candidates did not appear in the interview then it
is good news for remaining candidates like us...

Hi my name is Sanjeev Kumar Singh. I am a Tax Assistant in
the Income Tax Department, Delhi. I have gone through all
above answers. In 2005, I was appeared in the interview for
CGL but could not make it into final. This year I am
waiting for CGL 2006. I also appeared in the interview of
SO (AUDIT) but finally not got through.
As far as final result is concerned only SSC pers can tell
something.

The results is likely to be declared in the last week of
February. So lets hope for the best. Regarding cut off
marks it various. No one can predict the cut off mark. So
don't worry about the cut off mark. All the best to all of

whatever be the number of vacancies, atleast 50% will be
reserved.then what is the chance for general category
students?
may i know that all those who are taking part in this forum
comes from the various regions of ssc i.e. eastern,
western, southern, northern,etc. then we can discuss in a
better way and also know from which region how many
candidates appear.

hi friends my name is Sujay Shankar and like u i am also
waiting anxiously for the grad level 2006 results. i
cleared the s.o. commercial written but failed to clear the
interview. i got very nervous to tell u the truth. but this
time my interview went quite well so i am a bit sure.
someone above has written the number of posts is around
3500. but my friends have u noticed that ssc calls for
interview nearly three times the number of actual posts.
like in so commercial they had 250 posts and for interview
they called around 759 candidates.
but maybe this time things have changed.i sincearly hope
that.

if u score good marks in main written exam whether u did well in interview or not, i m sure that u ll be selected.because in 2005 exam i did well in main written exam but my interview was not so good and so i thought that i would not be selected.but i got selected for the post of income tax inspector.so, if u can score around 400 marks in main written exam,i m sure that u ll be selected.....so what i want to say is that interview is not a big deal.....
