Dear babu,
Examiner is the best post in CGLE group.Actually is a
premium cadre post of Customs.Main work of Examiner is
examine & to give clearence to an item.Exposure &
promotions are also better than any other post of CGLE.
As per my knowledge, the preference in CGLM should be as
follows-
1.Examiner 2.Preventive Officer 3. Incomtax Ins. 4.Excise
Ins. 5.............
About Pay protection, I think you do not have the knowledge
of the GoI order -
No. 13/2/99-Estt.(Pay-I)Dated 18/06/2001- Fixation of pay
of State Government employees of their appointment in the
Central Government
and
No.16/6/2001-Estt. (Pay I)Dated 14/02/2006- Fixation of pay
in case of employees who seek transfer to a lower post
under FR 15(a) - clarification regarding.
Kindly take a look on the above G.O. available on the
website of DOPT, govt of India.
After that give your valuable comment.....
Thanks.
Gautam
