hello everybody,
you all just give up all your hopes bcoz i have talked to
exam director and u/s , the exam director told me he has no
clue about the result, but the u/s mr gambhir told me to
wait until feb last or march first week, as was
expected.Everytime u call they will give you 1 month later
date.so if u all can wait wait,i can't wait that long.
But the thing is that my life depends onthis, i know u r
not interested in doing anything serious,u can just sit and
talk about the date.so
wait...................................
i wrote to pm, mos, dopt but nothing fruitful,u know.now my
mind is going crazy,i m hopeless,

RTI under life & liberty question so that they reply your
rti query within 2 days. i can't file it since i m a
government employee.

Sir,
With due regards, it is my humble submission that the final
results of Combined Graduate Level (Main) Exam 2006 has not
been declared even after an excessive delay of more than
six months after interview, which were held in June 2008
only. Results of several other exams, which were held later
than it have been declared but it has been held up. Please
expedite the results since the candidates are getting

Wait, Wait & Wait !
Friends dont get frustrated. Results are being planned to
get published within few days most probably by this friday
on 30-01-2009. There is no court case and any problematic
situation as explained to me by SSC deputy secretary who I
met personally. I was told that the staff shortage and
heavy work-load are the main reason behind it. They have to
compile a lot of information and then to allot candidates
according to merit. They are also planning to display
marksheet so that they may abstain themself from thousands
of RTI petitions which they received last year after
publishing final results. So friends, be patient and one
important think, results will be published before 2008
mains. Its better you all prepare for 2008 mains. Wish you

Dear Prashant, Previous year cut off show that 460 was
quite a safe point. But these vary year to year with
respect to papers and vacancies and so no need to worry.
This time mains results have been cleared on a lower score
than previous year though unexpectedly many better
candidates could not qualify this time and many freshers
got through it. And as is regularly told that number of
vacancies is good this time. It should get to a lower
scoring. And hence 450 is quite a safe mark as expected. It
may go even low. In all the competitive exams a lot of work
depends on your luck. since the papers were subjective so
anyone can score better or worse than he/she expected. So
no need to worry. Just have big big hopes.

I m writing this again to make everybody knows about the final cut-off
marks in 2005 exam.
Marks scored by the last slected candidates in the CGL
exam-2005:

Inspector(IT):SC(399),ST(377),OBC(434),UR(453)
Inspector(PO):SC(414),ST(395),OBC(445),UR(461)
Inspector(Examiner):SC(413),ST(404),OBC(455),UR(465)

These marks are out of 700(600 for main written test+100
for interview)
In 2005 exam, 815 candidates were selected for the post
of income tax inspectors.
But for custom inspectors(PO),custom inspectors(Examiner) n Excise inspectors, I forgot the number but it was
less than 100 for each.
But I heard that in 2006 exam, few number of IT inspectors ll be
selected and a good number of custom and excise inspectors ll be selected.

I am also the one who get selected for the post of IT inspector.
But till now I have not got the appointment letter.
