Answer / rachana
When a person to whom the proposal is made gives his assent
to the proposal, the proposal is said to be accepted.
Essentials: 1. Acceptance must be absolute. The proposal
should be accepted as it is.
2. Acceptance must be communicated to the proposer.
3. Communication of acceptance should be made in a usual
and reasonable manner. If the proposal states the manner in
which it should be accepted, the acceptance should be made
in that manner only.
4. Sometimes it is not possible to communicate the
acceptance of the proposal to the proposer. In such case
performance of the condition of the proposal is the
acceptance of the proposal.
