We can select the cable size in sqmm for certain load by
this process
Cross sectional area of conductor in sqmm
In single phase=a=2x4.59PL
Where a=crosssectional area of conductor
P=Load in KW
L=Distance of load point
In three phase=a=4.55xPL/3

AS WE KNOW CABLE CORE IS MADE UP OF ALLUMINIUM.AND IF
RESISTIVITY OF ALUMINIUM IS 'D' AND ARAEA OF CROSS-SECTION
IS 'A' THEN RESISTANCE=D(L/A) WHERE 'L' IS LENGHTH OF
CABLE.THEN BY FORMULA I=V/R YOU CAN CALCULATE THE CURRENT
CAPACITY.
