CVT- Capacitor voltage tranformer mainly used in EHV
network.It has certain advantage over Electromagentic
VT,BUT accuracy vice my opinion is both are almost same.

CVTs are normally used where there is a need for
communication is contemplated.
They are prone for errors in due to aging.
It is comparatively cheaper.
Always prefer IPT for measurement which are tariff related.
