out today or tomorrow, but meanwhile I will be working in

they are trying to post u within 1-2 hour journey within
your home or 20 km radius.

@ kolkata friends,

don';t wait for the call and go to jeevandeep branch or
other where u have submittd ur documents,
they are sending u to some other department, who is sorting
things out
i have went there today but crowd was ther so i came back
and wud go tomorrow or day after tomorrow

Hello everyone,

I have been working here at zonal office since yesterday and
am expecting allotment by the end of this week. Meanwhile I
was able to gather some info regarding training, promotions
etc. Training is being done in batches and the letters
regarding that will come to the respective branches of the
candidates.

Regarding the promotions, we will be eligible to write the
exams for promotions after completing 2 years of service.

About the increments, graduates have received 2 increments
by default. JAIIB 1 increment and CAIIB 1 increment and
yearly increments also will be given. So, the appraisals
are good and we have more chances for promotion than before.

I was actually typing the letters for training and transfer
letter and such things here and am trying to learn more
regarding such matters. I hope to be alloted a branch soon.
Well I have had the privilige of working for the regional
manager here and every body has been good and delightful all
the way till now and I also hope for the same in the branch
that they allot me.

So wish me luck

i have known that in the appointment letter first page, the salary they had given 4410 to some one and 4840 to some one.y this difference.anyone know about this.if anyone know plz give the information.

u can get the information easily about this bcoz u r working in the zonal office.officers r available to u and they can give the correct information about it.can u plz enquire about it.

Hi Friends

2day i joined in the SBI Main branch.A total of 6 with 4
girls and a guy and I reported today. Evening , we r all
given a warm welcome party by our Bank Colleagues.All high
officials participated in that function and welcomed us.
Nearly 50 persons r working in my branch. All of them
congrats and wish for a bright career also to me for getting
posting nearby my house.

As the branch i had joined is MAIN office,it is equipped
with all latest machines (all LCD monitors with advanced
configured systems), good infrastructure, well furnished
cabins, fully air-conditioned , especially good Canteen.
Totally to say , i didnt see any difference between my
branch and a MNC office.

I think there will be lot of chances to learn more in main
offices.

I dont know how to thank God. Yes.I pray God to place me in
IT Dept.( As i m purely computer professional) .

Really i m excited on seeing the place allotted to me. I m
placed in the MICR Dept.Now i m surrounded with 2 advanced
Servers and 4 Computers.I have to maintain all. I m very
happy. Surely this will help me to learn more about
networking. But my work will start by 2:30 - 3.00 pm and
lasts up to 9:00- 9-30 pm , as after 3 pm only all bank's
Instruments( hereafter we shall not say as Cheque , it's
Instrument) will come.

For me, there's no indirect / direct interaction with
customers. My Dept is separate and no connexon with usual
bank works.

Friends, Dont think i m overacting or telling story.
With u r all only i can share my feelings and all. I want to
share my experience with you all. I did. That's all.

Once more i thank God and U r all , friends.
I continue posting and share my work experiences here.
I request u all follow the same.

Congrats yaar. Surely u will get placed nearby ur home.

U told that graduates will receive 2 increments. When will
it will be received by us???.

Coz when i saw some appt.letters of some friends (both
graduates n H.Sc finished persons) , i note that all of us
was give rs.4410 as basic.

Plz clarify this, buddy or anyone.

Gops,

If you have finished your graduation and they stated your
basic as 4410, you must immediately that to their attention
as I have noticed some people who have not finished their
graduation were given 4840 basic and are being corrected to
4410. So please if that is the case please ask them
immediately.

in my appointment letter Rs.4410 basic salary is mentioned.

Anjul,

Yes it must be mentioned wrong as graduates should get 4840
basic. I am sure of it as I have corrected some today here.
You can still make sure of it from you respective branch
manager.
