wt abt the appointment letter?they told me tat
since prgn..nt candidates r joining in a later stage,we
will be sent a letter regarding tat,but i didnt get such a
thing till now,wat abt u?plz reply.

Hi Preethi,

When i went to the SBI office they simply wrote temporarily
unfit on the call letter. When i asked about appointment
letter i was told that there will be no appointment letter
and that the candidate can come after three months of
delivery with this letter and a medically fit certificate.

Please let me know what your circle officials informed you.

In Bangalore circle they have taken reports of pregnancy
and asked my wife to write an application for the same. So
she did that.
After that they told that we will be receiving some letter
regarding this, but after 5th Jan as till that time joining
letters were to be issued.
So now we will wait for 4-5 days and then we will call them
next week.
Regarding medical as we told them (infact verification
officer himself asked) about pregnancy at time of
verification we didnt go for any medical.

hi all,

this is anil from hyd circle . i got training in
gachibowli hyd.. its a very cool place and the facilities r
very good. food n ambience r very good. today is the first
day of training... lot of new frnds n faces....share ur exp
also....

Hiiiii friends...!!

I also join at Hassan.....and today it was my 1st day and
they told me to sit at cash counter only and tought me
little bit for telling balance to customer and for typing
some official letter...it was pretty good...i finished
everything easily and they all Branch manager and everyone
is very good person so i am happy now but the thing is that
I don't know Kannada so it is a proble with me to handle
the customer..they all r Kannada speaking person because it
is a small town...!!

and one more thing they told me that after few weeks they
will send us in training may be on 12th Jan. for 15 days
but not sure yet..!! so ...will they send us for training
now?? after joining..???? ohhh really i couldnot
understand this process...!!!

Hello friends,

I have received my appointment letter today at zonal office
and joined today itself but was not alloted any branch yet.
It might take 3 to 4 more days but till then I will be
working at the zonal office here or just sitting there
talking to the manager and the steno there and getting some
knowledge before I am actually posted to a branch. And my
joining date is today itself and i was told that I will be
receiving the salary from today itself. So no problems of
seniority for me. they asked me about where i want to be
posted and assured me that they will get me a place that is
convenient for me.

So I am now officially an SBI employee and a colleague of
yours and waiting for the place to be posted.

Wish me luck in getting a place near to my home.

Today i had searched u @ Trichi, buddy. But i failed.

S. Today (5th Jan) i had joined as a member of SBI Family.
By 2:30 pm they had issued the appt.letter. THe briefing
session started @ 10:am. And they provided us a nice lunch.

It's nothing yaar. Jus abt SBI and its growth, purpose of
recruitment, Common behaviours, approach towards Customers,
tasks which we have to complete etc etc.Nearly 4 AGM's from
various circles gave speech.

N Thank God . I m posted in my LHO which is jus 2 km away
from my Home @ Suffren St.

hey guys i attended my interview on 29th April in a delhi zone.They were asking so simple question that i was surprised. I preapred day and night for the interview collecting all the question from this link and other site as well as from GS book but they simply asked 1) tell us about ur family 2) about u 3) Why u want to join banking and not IT . 4) Advantages and disadvantages of computer. 5) Where is hawamahal. 6) about pink city 7) who discovered electron. 8) who invented telephone. that's all I think it was just waste of time preparing banking related questions.
