You are driving along in your car on a wild, stormy night,
it's raining heavily, when suddenly you pass by a bus stop,
and you see three people waiting for a bus:
An old lady who looks as if she is about to die.
An old friend who once saved your life.
The perfect partner you have been dreaming about.
Which one would you choose to offer a ride to,
knowing very well that there could only be one passenger in
your car?
This is a moral/ethical dilemma that was once actually used
as part of a job application.
* You could pick up the old lady, because she is going to
die, and thus you should save her first;
* or you could take the old friend because he once saved
your life, and this would be the perfect chance to ! pay
him back.
* However, you may never be able to find your perfect mate
again.

Ok Ok Ok!!! Let me answer the question. This is the 21st century. Before anybody would buy a car he must have gotten a phone(Be honest with your self). Now the story didnt say they were out of the network coverage neither did it say the guy driving the car left his phone at home. it only said it was a wild stormy night. that means there was network coverage and the guy driving the car had his phone. Furthermore, upon seeing the old lady that looks like she's about to die, his friend and his "Soul mate", this is what he is meant to do; 1. Call an ambulance to come an pick up the old lady. 2. Call a cab for his "Soul mate" or even his friend 3. Carry the his friend or "soul mate"(Depending on who he called the cab for). I hope i answered it.

The answer about giving the keys to your friend to take the lady to hospital, seems like the ideal solution, but it is WRONG. The question was "which would YOU give a lift to?" Giving the keys to someone else is NOT "giving a lift" to someone, so sadly, optimal though that answer may be, it is not allowed. Also, it presumes that your friend would want to take the lady to hospital. If you friend was going somewhere else, they might not want to take the detour of driving your car, and in fact, what if I told you that they were not qualified to drive ? What then ? No, the most moral, ALLOWED solution would be to take the lady to hospital yourself, if your friend had saved your life, they would not mind waiting. And set what about the other person, you would have to stop and talk to them, you could easily talk to all of them and ask for all their details, and even ask the man / lady depending on your sexual preference, for their number so that you can call them once you have dropped off the lady, to see whether they are still waiting, so that you can come and collect them if they are.

I Would stop the car and ask the Lady, in she is well and if not, i would give first aid and call an ambulance. Or better i would let the other People make the Phone call While i give First aid. As the other two People seemimgly haven't performed First aid and Do Not Care for the well beeing of the old Lady, i would end up the friendship with the old friend of Mine and would never be interested in a relationship with the georgeous other Person.
