in high power generetor, stator has 2 windings in each
phase whic r connected in parallel. turn to turn fault
means short between these two windings in a single phase

for example in case of transformer when the tappings are
changed the continuty of the supply should me maintained.in
order to provide the same turn to turn protection is
required.
