for a perticular design the incoming power is same.
we know P = VI so when voltage is high current is low &
viceversa.

Voltage & Current are the inverse propotion ( Voltage is
High, Current is less & Voltage is low, Current is More )
for the Same load when considered on different voltages.
its following P = VI
I.E> For the Same Load in 11 KV Current will be very less
For the same load in 415 V Current will be high compare to
11 Kv

AS kVA RATING OF A TRAFO IS CONSTANT.
SO FOR HT SIDE MEANS HIGH VOLTAGE SIDE CURRENT IS LESS &
FOR LT SIDE MEANS LOW VOLTAGE SIDE CURRENT IS MORE.
HIGH VOLTAGE X LOW CURRENT = LOW VOLTAGE X HIGH CURRENT
(HT SIDE) (LT SIDE)

Voltage and Current are inversely proportional to each other in Transformers.. As the value of voltage increases current decreases, and as the value of voltage decreases the current value increases.... I Will make you count..
Practically i work in a 220/66/11 kv power station.
I have a 100 MVA Transformer which is a Step Down X'mer. The H.V Side of the X'mer gets 220KV input and L.V of the X'mer gives 66KV output...Now to calculate ............
The Current for H.V Side according to P=VI
we have P=100 MVA
V=220 KV
I=?
I= 100 10^6 /1.732 X 220 X 10^3 = 262.24 Amps
Similarly for L.V
I= 100 10^6 /1.732 X 66 X 10^3 = 874.79 Amps
These are the Actual H.V and L.V Current reading of a working transformer... Which proves that when Voltage decreases current increases..........Thank you
