In general, Test Case is something which is prepared and
used to test if an application meets the requirmenets. Test
cases can be written in an excel sheet with the following
columns.
Test Case ID, Pre Condition, Test Steps, Expected result,
Actual Result, Status (passes/Failed).
Test cases are also written using defect management tool
called Test Director, (currently Quality Centre)
