I have applied for J1 visa 3 years back and it got rejected
Reason: No sufficient evidence of coming back(Strange but
true). This year my application for H1B is accepted
interview will be in sept oct, will the interviewer ask
about my J1 refusal?

Dear applicant,
Many of the candidates might have suffered from the same problem as you. As the decision to provide visa or not, mainly depends on the visa interview officer, no one can guarantee it. They might might have refused because of some policies of immigration act of usa at that time. But the good news for you is sources from Department of Homeland Security & immigrations have stated that now it would be easier for the applicants of H1b and other working visa like J1 and J2. Because the same is now planning to minimize the flow of old citizen who would have filed for immigration, they no longer beneficial for the US Government because the are least helpful the government but enjoys the citizenship rights. Applicants of work visa will be benefited the most. This is the right opportunity for the young applicants who have a strong desire to work in states.

Hi All, This is karthik from bangalore, I have applied for my H1B and it got selected in lotto and it's approved on June 19 2008.Now i am waiting for mu interview date. I am working here with a software company for 3 years but before 6 months it was taken over by another concern and now all my revisal letter and pay slip will have both the companies name logo etc..... my questions is.. Will it affect anyway in my H1B interview?

I attended H1B interview at Hyderabad consulate on 30/04/2009. I have been handed over with a 221G white form and asked to provide more documents from petetioner. The VO also held my original Educational documents with him. Will this be a problem ? I hold my post graduate degree from National Institute of Technology, Warangal.
for student visa they rejected u since u dont have confidence on u that u will return back to india.now how can we beleive that u will return to india after 3 years or when ur work permit expires.justify?

Hi, Can anyone tell me about the H1B 2009 quota selection result. Have any of you received the selection receipt, if so till what time this will come. If rejected do they send back the petition filed immediately or it will take longer. And what is the duration to know whether you got selected for H1B. Guys any one Pl.throw some light on this. 1. I am currently working at CompanyA in L1B visa, I am going to apply H1B visa through CompanyB in March 2013. If the H1B Visa got approved, what is the proper procedure to get relieved from company A and join company B ? Will there be any legal issues? 2. I am going to apply for H1B Visa next month. My L1B visa going to expire in April 2013. Can I go to India while H1B in process and get H1B from India?
