If the developer rejects that its not a bug means then whats
the next step we follow?

Answer / manshi
If the developer doesn't accept the defect, then it is
rejected and comes back to the tester. Now the tester will
ask for clarification with the developer why the defect is
rejected. Since everything is based on the Req. documents,
both tester and developer will have to look at the Req.
document, validate it and then report it if necessary or
close the defect.

Again we will test that area where u find a bug and make
sure that it is not working properly then we will make a
snap shot and we will send to development environment ,.........

Hi Guys,
Before placing the Bug in the tool or anywhre make sure
that you will take the screen shot , and which server u r
tested , whether its in Development site or testing site
and make sure that step to reproduce should be written
while placing the bug.
If better try to reproduce the bug before placing the bug.
Hope this is clear..

sry chandra,
If developers accept then only its termed as bug, otherwise
its termed as error, If Error/functional mismatch then we
will go ahed with BA discussion infront of concern developers.
We should not encourage developer for the bug rejection /BA
discussion if the raised defect is deviation from our client
requirement.
Hope this clear

Above all answers are correct,
Before reopen any bug you need to make sure you have right version (updated)of build in your test environment.
And check your test case against requirements, some times there is some chance changing requirements.
