In Re-testing we test only fixed bug.We not go through all
test cases.

from developer, then tester do re-testing on the modified
build or application to conform that whether the bug is
fixed or not...

re-testing can be performed as

1. when Bug is Fixed.

2. when built is modified.

In re-testing phase we have to test combinations of all
relevent test scenario's.

When the Actual Result (out-put)not constant cont. changing
then, for confirmation the out-put to confirm its defect or
not we r performing re-testing.

3)_test engineer will start re-testing after complition of Sanity testing..
