Test cases for traffic signals in a four road junction?
1. Check the availability of the pole having light in
four directions.
2. Check the signal is not in between road, it beside
the road or it’s in center of the road with proper high so
that a container can easily go through it.
3. Check the power supply of the light.
4. Check it show proper time for red and green light.
5. Check the light is glowing as per traffic rule i.e.
start with green, yellow and then red.
6. check the traffic signal show yellow light after
11:00pm, the time will be differ for
the city wise.
7. Also check the traffic signal in rainy season its
working properly or not because there is a chance of short
circuit due to rain water drop on internal circuit.
Tell me if I am wrong.

Check for the availability of POLE with Lights in FOUR
Directions.
Check for the POWER connection of the lights.
Check whether the Availability of GREEN,RED,yellow lights.
Check whether the Lights are glowing as per the Traffic
rules i.e starts with red light,Yellow light before the
green signal come out,Green light at the last.

just few points i am gonna add here.,

1. if GREEN is ON other two should be in OFF.
2. if RED is ON other two should be in OFF.
3. if YELLOW is ON other two should be in OFF.
4. GREEN lights should be shown as GREEN color(as per same
for rema., two).
5. since it's four roads juction so at a time two signal
can be in GREEN other two should be in RED.
6. GREEN in max 60 sec.
7. RED in max 25 sec.
8. YELLOW in max 5 sec.
9. YELLOW light should be plink and after 5 sec GREEN has
to be shown.

after green for 60sec then that should change as red and opposite side should change to green.

If I have written the 10 Positive test cases first and Negative test cases 11 to 25 .I Execute +ve first & then - ve as per test cases were written .Now if I got the next build & if I write again +ve Test Cases 26-30 first & then - ve 31-35 but I have to execute all test cases 1 to 35.But here the sequence of execution is +ve,-ve,+ve & -ve .How should I maintain the test cases .Please tell me It's Urgent .Thanks In Advance.....Tester
