8085 is 8 bit processor while 8086 is 16 bit processor.
4 to 20 MA is analog signal while switching (Short/Open or
1 / 0 ) is called digital signal.
Digital signal can define in terms of communication as a
no. of bits also but ultimetely its combinations of the two
staes 0 and 1

Analog signal that means ,from the field we r getting at
dcs system is 4- 20 ma (from ant types of control
valves,transmitters) is called ananlog signal.
Digital signals that means such as rtd,thermocuples(in mv)
is calleddigital signal.
8085 is old version of microprocessor and 8086 is a the
lattest version in year 2003,presently idont which version
