earth is a good conductor, all transformes low volteg side
star type cannected that starpoint is cannected to ground.if
erthing is used as a neutral, current flow through the earth
to star point

Answer / tusar charan behera
in a ckt neutral point is at lower potential so tht curent
is flowing frm higher potential to lower potential.as earth
is at lower ptential it get a closed path to flow the current.

Answer / odokoshene
Current will always find a low potential path.Since earth
is at low potential ,the circuit will complete its path
throgh earth. In case of three phase star conneted load,
earthing cannot be used as neutral and such case will have
floating neutral

Answer / jitender kotwal
the L.T side of the transformer star connection is there
and from the center of that netural point comes in picture
and it is assumed that at this point there is zero potential
but in unblance load this point cay carry the potential to
avoid this the netural is always connected to ground.
so if ground is used in place of netural the ckt will
complete as ground is at low (zero)potential

Answer / gk
some times the 3 phse lines are goes unbalanced condition
at that period the current flows to the neutral also .If
earth is connected to the neutral mean at that period
current flow (unbalanced condition)to the body of the
electrical equipement and it affects anybody touch the body
of the equipemeant so neutral is connected separetly is
very safety

current path will be : phase - load - earthing conductor -
ground instead of neutral going to star pt of x mer

What is the diameter of electromagnetic field around a 11000/415v transformer ? Dose it affect people who live 3-4 meter beside it?
we all know that in transformer, voltage and current are inversely related i.e. Vp/Vs= Is/Ip....so in standard CT..we have a ratio of 200/5...that means our voltage should increase by ratio of 40..althoug that is not the case...because that requires high insulation level.and pratically not feasible......can anybody clarify my ques.......thanx
