Build interval is the time gap between two succesive builds.

Defect Age : The time of introduction of defect to time of
detection. To compute the measurement one assigns a number
to each software development life-cycle phase and calculates
difference between detection phase with introduction phase.
Build interval period: this is the time taken to build newer
version of the application and older version.
