Report view uses the same report specification as the
source report, but has different properties such as prompt
values...etc
By using this we can have multiple schedules for the same
report with the different values.

Report view is nothing but when we are saving the report it
stores only the metadata but when we go for Report view it
saves with the data means we are getting the old information
