Electronics refers to the flow of charge (moving electrons)
through nonmetal conductors (mainly semiconductors), whereas
electrical refers to the flow of charge through metal
conductors. For example, flow of charge through silicon,
which is not a metal, would come under electronics; whereas
flow of charge through copper, which is a metal, would come
under electrical.

In the electronics- electrons are used, operates on low
voltage, controls the micro & macro issues, smaller in size
& lighter in weight.Like as BJT,FET,SCR.
But, In The electrical-operates on high
voltage,controls the macro(big) issues,heavier in weight &
big in size .Like as TRANSFORMER

Above answers are partly correct.
However, Electrical Engg is the field of engg dealing with
genaration,transmission, distribution and utilization of
energy or power at power frequency(50Hz) and high voltage
and power ratings.
Whereas, Electronics Engg deals with rectifying the
distributed AC power to a low value DC with the help of a
rectifier, hence deals with much lower value of
volt, current and power, and most importantly it deals with
higher frequencies(`KHz,MHz,GHz etc.)

the basic and most important difference between electronics
& electrical is:
--Electronics is based on DC
--Electrical is based on AC
You can think about any system in electronics and analyze is
it working on AC or DC?
You will get electronics is based on DC either it is
computers, laptops or any other system both need
rectification in input for the application while u can
imagine about electrical it is based on DC
