RECTIFIERS

The rectifiers are those which converts a.c voltage to
d.c voltage.some of the rectifiers are
half wave rectifier{H.W.R}
full wave rectifier{F.W.R}
bridge rectifier{B.R}
characteristics
ripple factor peak inverse voltage efficincy
H.W.R 1.21 MAX VOLTAGE(Vm) 40.6
F.W.R 0.482 2Vm 81.2
B.R -- Vm --

What are Rectifiers and what is the use of it? ..

Answer / plc

RECTIFICATION:

IT IS THE PROCESS OF CONVERTING A.C VOLTAGE INTO PULSATING
D.C VOLTAGE(HAVING RIPPLES).

TO CONVERT PULSATING D.C VOLTAGE(HAVING RIPPLES)INTO PURE
D.C VOLTAGE WE GO FOR FILTERS.

USE OF RECTIFIERS:

ADAPTERS/ELIMINATORS.......ETC
