Its basic variables are-
1.Type of fluid to be carried
2.Pressure of fluid
3.Temperature of fluid
4.Rate of Flow of fluid

Then after considering all variables .We calculate Hoop's
Stress and longitudenal stress.According to which Dia of
pipe and thickness is found is Found.
