In the Testing, How do we find the Duplicate Defects. In
the case of testing is going on On-site r off-shore..some
times on site and off-shore people may enter defects at the
same time..those may include duplicate defects. how we have
to find those defects..

If we are using some defect reporting tool then this defects
are available on online for both offshore and on site
people.

As a normal practice before going to enter a bug our
testing people will check the bug already entered in to the
defect reporting tool or not.

If the bug mistakenly entered again the development people
(Project Manager)will make it's status as duplicate bug.

If we are not using and defect reporting/defect management
tools then it is very offenly the people enter dulplicate
bugs.
Tracking also very difficult,and nearly impossible.
