Answer / padmas

Test policy document is organization level document in which Test strategy, tools one that organization uses, environment etc are specified. Test policy includes what type of testing the organization usually conducts such as only functional testing or only performance testing, for how long and objective of test as a whole with respect to organization. Test personnel, Test standards methodology, defines its policy. Policy cannot be deviated by any project, if organization is developing multiple projects then the Test Policy document is same for all projects/with various clients.
