TS 16949 is european quality managment system related to
Automotive Industry. Almost all major automobile
manufacturer follow it except japanese companies like
Toyota. They have there own quality managment system which
I think is better then TS. TPM is Total production
managment, QMS quality management system. SPC statistical
process control, MSA not sure. They all are quality sytem
terms some time its different in differet org.

TS 16949 is european quality managment system related to
Automotive Industry. Almost all major automobile
manufacturer follow it except japanese companies like
toyota. TPM is a methodology to ensure zero waste attitude
( different industry use this terminology as differently
eg.. total productive maintenance,total perfromance
management etc) in general this is to reduce deviations and
reduce wastages to produce product at lower cost. QMS is
quality management system which deals with all quality
parameters to ensure zero compliance and customer
satisfactions. SPC is statistical process control it is
also a part of TPM here more concentrations on reducing the
variations there by achieving lessr deviations, MSA is
master schedule attainment which deals with planning vs
produced ( alwasy expressed in percentages) this is to the
speed up your product ( availability of the product in
market always to not to loose the customers)& it is for
material management in supply chain sectiions.
