Make "V" groove and then pre heating of the job is required
and proceed with welding. After welding RT is done and then

for convinience point of view....mig will serve the best..
because continous supply of filler will be there for a 25mm
thick weld else simply arc welding with a suitable thick
electrode with proper v/i characteristics will also do the
job..pertaining to correct or proper electrode veiwing
technique.
