how can we find iron weight if we know quantity of iron..

wat evr may be the metal we can calulate the weight by
knwng the bulk density of the material and multiplying it
with the volume u get frm the gven dimensions.

Example a falt with dimensions:65 x 6 x 155 Lg.(All
Dimensions are in mm)
thn u can claulate the weight 65 x 6 x 155 x
0.00000785=0.47kg
where 7.86 is the bulk density of M.S

multiply 0.00000785 to the dimensions of the component if
its a RCS section & multiply 0.0000062 to the dimensions of
the component if its a circular component...7.85 & 6.20 are
only for Mild steels...You can find out the weight of any
MS component...
