difference between neutral ground and phase

difference between neutral ground and phase..

Answer / parthibanselvaraj

Phase is the wire that carries electrical current from
mains to the appliance via the switch.

neutral is the wire that completes the electrical circuit
from the switch back to the mains.

Ground is the wire that will act as a short circuit from
the body of the instrument to the earth ground.

now if the switch is open the current path can not be
completed and hence the appliance does not work.

the moment switch is pressed the path is completed and so
the appliance works properly. If some one touches the body
normally there should not be any problem.

If mains supply leaks to the body of the appliance it needs
to be immediately and automatically sent to the ground
bypassing the human load which may come into contact .
Earth line serves exactly this purpose. So if you touch you
will get very small leakage current through your body
because the entire current goes through ground wire. you
are safe.

difference between neutral ground and phase..

Answer / mrinal kanti bhattacharjee

The phase, Neutral and ground are three important thing for
circuit devices. The phase current pass from the
voltage/power source to the circuit equipment. After this
phase current another current have to pass from this
equpment to main sources, which the often called negative
current, this is called Neutral current. And to save from
the short circuit and to save our body a wire is required to
connect between the devices and earth. This is grounding or
earthing. Earthing is required because earth voltage is
zero. So if connect the devices to the earth then a leakage
current can pass to the earth via the ground wire and save
us to flow the leakage current through our body.

difference between neutral ground and phase..

Answer / dhanasekaran

We are having a Generator O/P terminals like
Phase & Neutral.Ground termial is once we can make the star
point to be grounded. The first one make the circuit. The
second one maintains the potential at zero voltage. If we
can link the electrical equipment body with earth wire we
can neutrlize the induced voltage on it.

Data is not in the main memory a real disk operation is needed and an additional 75 ms are reqd. On the average. On the average 25% of the clients requests access the disk. During the disk I/O period the thread waits. Assume that there is no other process in system when the server is running. How many requests can the server handle per second if its a)single threaded b)multithreaded
